 Brazia Jones | Assistant Coach

Arkansas-Monticello's Head Women's Basketball Coach David Midlick announced the hiring of Brazia Jones as the newest member of the Blossoms coaching staff. Jones comes on board as the Assistant Coach for Monticello's program after serving as Assistant Girl's Basketball Coach at White Station High School in Memphis, Tennessee.

During her time at White Station High School, Jones would assist the head coach with game day strategies and game plan adjustments, as well as conducting daily practices, strength and conditioning programs. She helped develop and evaluate numerous player performances and tracked numerous in-game stats.

Prior to White Station, Jones was an Athletic Administrative Intern at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. During her internship she maintained stats for different sports with the Sports Information Director, filmed various games and practices, assisted with recruitment visits on campus, and delivered excellent customer service with the faculty and administrative staff.

Coach Jones received her Bachelor's of business administration (B.B.A.) in 2018 from Millsaps College and her Master of Art in Teaching Degree in 2022 from the University of Memphis in 2022.

Jones' playing experience will also play a massive role in her coaching ability at UAM. Jones played collegiate basketball at Millsaps College from 2014-2018.
